We realize that each person has a different personality, lifestyle, habits, and therefore has different learning needs and requirements. For those above the beginner level, we give a placement test and organize an informal interview with the teacher. A curriculum is tailor-designed specifically for each individual student. There is no set course book for the lessons, as each student-teacher pair decides what is best, according to the student's learning requirements. In order to diversify the lessons, more practical materials such as newspapers, magazines, videos and tapes are incorporated. Courses are structured so that the student's language skills increase rapidly, yet at a pace he or she is comfortable with, and the ability to communicate in everyday situations is achieved. After a short time, language skills in an international or business environment become attainable.

Throughout the course, students not only increase their vocabulary and learn new situational phrases that are used in specific situations like in the bank, post office, shop, etc., but they also have the possibility to practice their knowledge. As well as providing language lessons and role-playing every day situations, contemporary subjects are discussed such as current political events, social problems, religion and culture.

Courses are planned at all levels of proficiency, for students at the beginner, intermediate, advanced or near-proficient levels.

We highly encourage private teaching as this gives the student the opportunity to speak as often as possible, have the proper attention for questions, and it also allows the teacher to develop a deeper understanding of the student's needs. However, we also realise that some students benefit more from a group environment and we offer small group lessons. For our University groups and other specialised groups, we can arrange lessons around their specific area of study or interest.

We also have a number of private special programs. Our Travel/Study option is ideal for those who wish to combine studying with pleasure.
